Insurance brokers
Instalments fail quietly, and the cover carries on.
Broking runs on instalments, renewals and fee income, collected monthly across a large book. The volume is what makes it efficient and also what makes a single failed collection invisible. LeakIQ reads what your accounting system already holds and surfaces the ones that stopped.

Instalment collections that failed
What LeakIQ detects
- Direct debits that failed with no retry queued
- Card payments declined against instalment schedules
- The amount outstanding on each one
- How long it has been sitting unresolved
The problem
A failed instalment does not interrupt anything visible. The policy is in force, the client hears nothing, and the shortfall is one line in a collection file of thousands. By the time it surfaces, several instalments may have failed the same way.
How LeakIQ surfaces it
Every failed collection becomes its own issue with the amount, the client and the source record from GoCardless or Stripe, routed to an owner with a deadline instead of waiting on a manual reconciliation.
Fee income that never moved
What LeakIQ detects
- Clients invoiced an identical fee across one or more renewal cycles
- The annualised value of each static arrangement
- How many cycles have passed unchanged
- The invoice history behind the flag
The problem
Fee arrangements get set at the start of a relationship and then persist through renewal after renewal, because renewing is a service task and repricing is a commercial conversation. The client keeps renewing, the fee keeps not moving, and the erosion is invisible because nothing ever went wrong.
How LeakIQ surfaces it
LeakIQ flags the clients whose invoiced value has not changed across renewal cycles, with the annualised figure. It has no visibility of your terms of business, so it produces the review list and your team decides which arrangements are due a conversation.
Balances ageing past terms
What LeakIQ detects
- Invoices past their due date and still unpaid
- The age and value of each outstanding balance
- Exposure per client rather than per invoice
- Duplicate charges raised against the same client
The problem
Across a large book there is always outstanding debt, and most of it resolves. What is hard to see is which balances have moved from ordinary to stuck, because the ledger shows amounts rather than trajectories.
How LeakIQ surfaces it
Overdue balances surface with their age, ranked by exposure so the largest and oldest are worked first, and anything settled elsewhere clears itself on the next sync.
