Example report
What your revenue leakage report looks like.
Illustrative examples by sector, built from fictional data to show the format. Yours is produced from a one-off export of your own systems, every finding tied to the source record so your team can verify it.
Don't see your sector? No problem. LeakIQ works the same way for any business that invoices at volume or runs on recurring contracts, so you'll still get a full report from your own data.
Revenue Leakage Report
Where revenue is quietly leaving the business.
Four patterns found across your billing and collections data. Every figure below traces to a specific source record, listed so your finance team can verify each one independently.
Executive summary
The £266,120 headline combines one-off amounts taken directly from your records (£179,720) with a £86,400 annual estimate for the frozen-uplift finding, which recurs each year until corrected. The two are counted differently on purpose, and kept separate above.
Findings
Unbilled revenue · frozen uplift14 contracts invoiced at the same rate across two or more anniversaries
Where an annual increase was expected but the invoiced amount never moved, the gap compounds every year. This is the one figure the engine estimates rather than reads, because the uplift clause lives in the contract, not the ledger.
Failed payment · direct debit23 Direct Debit collections failed and were never re-presented
Each of these is a real invoice that was due, collected, bounced, and then dropped with no retry logged. Most are recoverable inside the existing mandate.
Uncollected revenue · overdue31 invoices more than 60 days past due, with no chase recorded
Genuine receivables ageing past the point where they usually get paid, and no follow-up logged against them. Value and age are both known, so this queue can be worked in priority order today.
Possible duplicate charge6 customers charged the same amount twice within 72 hours
This one is money potentially owed back, not collected. Flagged conservatively as possible so nothing is asserted about intent. Verifying and refunding early avoids chargebacks and the goodwill cost.
This is the depth you get. In your workspace, every finding like these comes with its exact source record and a drafted recovery action, ready to act on the moment you start a pilot.
How these figures are derived
Everything is source-backed. Failed payments, overdue invoices and duplicate charges are read straight from your records: the amount is the amount, and the record reference is listed so your team can open it and check.
One figure is an estimate, and it is labelled. The frozen-uplift number is the only modelled figure, because an uplift clause lives in a contract, not in the accounting system. It is calculated at an assumed 3% and should be confirmed against each contract before it is booked.
Nothing is written back. The report is produced from an export you send us under a mutual NDA, so there is nothing to connect. LeakIQ never changes, moves or deletes anything in your systems, and the findings are yours to keep whether or not you go further.
